Where We Started
TryCanadaShrewms began in Laval as a response to what we saw missing in the Canadian artisan confection market. We wanted a place where ingredient transparency wasn't an afterthought, where chocolate bars and fruit gummies were made in small batches with real attention to sourcing, and where customers could explore botanical ingredients without confusion or overblown language.
Our shop at 875 Rue de Montpellier reflects that vision. It's a space where you can ask questions about cacao origins, compare loose leaf tea varieties side by side, and understand exactly what goes into each handcrafted product we make.

How We Select Our Ingredients

For our loose leaf teas and herbal softgels, we work with botanical suppliers who provide detailed origin information and batch documentation. We taste, smell, and evaluate every new shipment before it goes into production or onto our shelves.
Our fruit gummies start with real fruit extracts and natural ingredients, selected for flavor clarity rather than artificial intensity. When we say a product contains a specific botanical or fruit, we mean it, and we're happy to explain where it came from.
